Weekend

My eyes are trying to stay open as I type this post. I am wondering why my font is blue and am wondering if I will be able to change it. When you are reading this and the font is blue, hopefully, you will still be able to see it.

We went to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and it was a very interesting event. I totally loved her dress (the fabric, mostly.) It was so pretty! She had red trim around the top and on the back and in the veil. Sigh....so pretty! Hopefully I will be able to show you some pictures of me and my sister all dressed up later.

I had a great time with my grandmother "Mimi." We went shopping today and we were able to hang out with eachother after church last night, just the two of us. It was a fun time.

Now, I will tell you something that was not fun and that was bringing our luggage back in the house. It was a horriable experience. I am talking about lugging bags and pocket books and a laptop case...etc, etc into the house falling into certain men's footsteps. LOL...I wanted to take a picture of my sister Carole. It was hysterical watching her try to carry a bag through that snow.

Okay, I am going to end for now. I will try to write more tomorrow.

Sounds like you've been quite busy. I'm sorry I haven't been by lately. I've been taking some time off to get through a situation that we are dealing with. I've not felt much like checking everyone's blogs. But I hope to be back on track again now. I've missed you!

for your story (sorry I messed up the last one ^):

The maid, named Mandy, put her hands on her hips and said, "Wipe your own nose for a change!!" Princess Lacy and the maid were going at it, when the butler came in. Princess Lacy looked at the butler, fire in her eyes. "WHAT!!!??" she yelled. "I-I'm sorry Princess, but your father insists on seeing you." Princess Lacy nodded and her tone changed. "Thank you. Maid, we will discuss your future here, later. Now, go and wash floors or something. Butler, where is father?" she asked. "The Throne Room, Princess." he replied. Princess Lacy headed down the maze of hallways to the Throne Room where her father sat in his gigantic chair. He looked up, "Lacy! I'm glad you're here." Princess Lacy smiled at her father. "What is it, father?" she asked. "Well, I know how you've always been the only child in this castle. Your mother died when you were only 3 and I know you must be lonely sometimes. So I invited another princess to come and live with us for awhile." Princess Lacy was shocked. "What? I'm not lonely. I'm very content, father. Tell her she does not have to come." she politely said. Her father just smiled. "She is already here." he replied, and nodded his head to the butler, "Lacy, meet Gwendolyn. She is from the East Kingdom." Lacy looked over at the other Princess. She had bright, long, red hair cascading down her back, big round green eyes and wore a clean peasant dress. Princess Lacy was disgusted. "Father, she is a Princess??" she asked. She took a look at Gwendolyn and then at herself. Lacy had her brown hair in a neat braid and wore a blue gown with jewels on the waist and neckline. "Yes, she is. And a very pretty one at that." her father said. Her father then told them to go and get acquainted. So reluctantly, Princess Lacy went. She found out that Gwendolyn was the complete opposite of Lacy loved horses, Gwendolyn loved donkeys. Lacy loved ziti, Gwendolyn loved spaghetti. But the biggest difference between them, was Lacy had a temper, Gwendolyn was nice all the time. They were having tea and one of the maids tripped and splashed tea all over Gwendolyn and Lacy. "OH!! I'm soooo sorry your highnesses!!" Gwendolyn laughed, wiped herself off and said, "Oh, that's alright. Are you okay, miss?" But as for Princess Lacy, she.................
