Enjoying my Summer

Carole and I are fully enjoying our time down at our Mimi's. Yesterday morning our sister called and asked if we could baby sit our nephews and then I got a text and my sister in law asked if we could also babysit our niece. So we had a full house yesterday but it was a blast!

(Liam and I on the big comfy chair in Mimi's living room!)

We took long walks with the babies in the strollers and played in the park and even got caught in the rain.
At one point Carole was swinging on the swing with Alyvia and the baby fell sound asleep. It was the sweetest thing. I know it is VERY hard to believe but Alyvia will be turning one years old on July 7th!! Can you believe it??
I LOVE this picture!! I could "Awe" at it all day long!!

Of course we just wouldn't of had as much fun as we did if Patrick and Carole didn't grace us with their presence! Patrick is so fun and he was so helpful yesterday. He is my cutie pie!!

Here we are getting ready to take a lovely walk. That is my cousin Kyle and my self and my sweetie Devyn in the stroller!
You, know a funny thing happened yesterday while we were at the park some one came up to me and asked me if I was part of the ___________ family. (My mom's maiden name.) I said yes I am! She then asked me if I was my mom's daughter. And again I said yes I am. She said I knew it you look just like your mom! I used to play with her all the time when we were little girls! Isn't that super funny? lol
Well, I hope everyone else is having a wonderful summer!

A Summer night...

Sigh, it's so refreshing to be sitting down at my laptop enjoying the fan blowing on me. Watching tv with Carole while she is relieved her big day is over. Her graduation went superb! She had a wonderful day surrounded by friends and family! She did great on her speech and march down the isle. It was all together a great day!

I will have pictures up here soon. The last of our family members went home yesterday. We had a fun Father's day we went to church with my older sister and her family and we then went out to eat and went to a science museum. Where my nephews had a blast! So, anyhow I am now just having time to download pictures and just haven't done it yet! But....you can have a sneak peek and look at Mackenzie's blog where she has posted some pictures of Carole's graduation!

So, this baby is coming so very soon! I can't wait to see him!! My mom is doing very well. She is tired at times but she is doing well!

Well, bloggie friends I am hoping now that since some of the commotion has died down I will be able to resume to blogging a little more regularly. Well, until my brother arrives that is it might just get a little more hectic again! lol!

Hope all is well!

A Midnight Snack

Well, some people splurge at midnight and go into there fridge and find a midnight snack. Tonight, however I am going to have a midnight Bloggie snack! I am tired and I have a very busy day ahead of me! Carole my little sister is graduating high school! I know I can't believe it either but it is true.

As I watched her practice the graduation march in her bed room tonight I could feel that smile come on my face that smile I always have for Carole my little sister one of my best friends! She means so much to me and I am so proud of her!

Carole has been home schooled for many years and will be graduating tomorrow from being home schooled just like I did three years ago. We are having the ceremony the church and the reception at our house. I promise I will have pictures up here soon!

I should go to bed but I just needed to splurge and have a bloggie snack and now that I had my fill I will try to fall asleep.

If you think of it please pray for Carole and her graduation tomorrow!

Why did I have to mention it?

And the story goes...

Tonight we came home from Wal-mart tired and weary from our shopping trip. I got ready for bed and while I was talking to my mom in her room I casually mentioned how I thought it was funny that I had my denim jacket on outside but upstairs I need summer pj's on.

WELL... pay very close attention people this is when it gets VERY interesting! "Oh, Ginger lets take one of the fans your dad brought home tonight and put it in your window!" (Pause briefly) A friend of my dad's gave him a bunch of window fans. (Back to story) "We? Mom...I don't think...we should try..." So, my mom asked Aaron and Aaron had NO idea what we were talking about so my mom said lets do it! (Mind you this is my very expectant mother that has more spunk than my five year old students!) So, I followed along beside her along with Aaron and the window bashing I mean window fanning begins.

Let me explain our first mistake...We should have taken the butterfly window clings off the window...

One of my poor butterfly wings got stuck between the window while my mom tried to lift the window.

Ya...this is a problem we can't move the window up or down so my mom says..."Ginger, do you have a CD you are not partial too?" "Ahhhhh....(Biting my lip) ummm...." She looked around quickly and found a nail file. All the poking and pushing she did with that poor nail file the butterfly still didn't budge.

Second mistake: Asking my dad to help.

"Susie, sit down let me give it a try." Mom and I in unison "Don't throw out your back!"

*Pop* *Slam* *Bang* "Ron, be careful!" My mom said. "Dad, does this mean bugs are going to come in my room?" I asked... My dad *Silent*

As I watched pieces of the glass panel land in the brown paper bag my brother brought up I was more than happy to hear that the storm window did not break so bugs and such could not come in my room.

However, my mom is not a quitter! "Ginger, the fan.." It was as if she was the surgeon and I was her nurse I handed her the fan. She then told me to hold the fan in place while she closed the window I was scared...I thought the window would shut on my fingers but it was okay I was fine and the window fan was in and if I didn't look directly at the gaping whole where a panel should be I was enjoying the cool air.

The rest of the family that came up to watch the show went back down stairs and I sat on my bed and stared out the window. It was pitch dark outside however all of the sudden I saw a HUGE moth near my window. Carole was busy at the computer and I tried to draw her attention to the window but she was not interested.

I went down stairs and was telling my parents how HUGE this moth was. After I showed them by my hands how big it looked they were getting convinced it was a luna moth up there. So, the great home school mom of mine decided she needed to come up with me again...and inspect this moth.

"Ginger, is this (She points to the window) the moth..." "Ya isn't HUGE?" "Honey that's a bat!" *Jaw falling to my feet* "B...b...b...BAT???" "Yes, a bat. A baby bat!" "Is is out side or inside my window???" "Ohh." My mom says.... "It's outside."

Yes...bloggie peeps that should of been a relief so why am I keeping on opening my shades and peeking at the upside down bat on my window?

Sigh...I am now cold, WIDE AWAKE and staring at a strange scary creature that squeaks! The first time I hear it squeak I am OUT OF HERE!

I am now going to bed....and all ready to dream about upside down bats! Eeeeek!!!

Well hello there!!

It has been quite a while since I graced all my bloggers with a post!! I have been so busy! So very extra busy!! That I really have not had time to do much with this big ole blog!! As you can see my blog designer Mackenzie worked her magic again and created a fun summery template for me!! I always enjoy when she surprises me with a new look for my blog.

We have also been going a little baby crazy this past week. Getting a car seat and a stroller getting the rug installed in the baby's room. Setting up the crib and so on. Next week my mom will be seven months!! can you believe it? The baby will be here before I know it!!

I also finished up my first year of school this past Thursday! I just can not believe I am on summer vacation!! It went so fast!!

I also did something last night that I wasn't planing on doing this year! The k5 teacher had to go in for some emergency surgery and she asked me to direct the k5 graduation! I was so nervous, but as I was reminded last night many times before the program I was amongst friends and I would do fine! And I was! The kids did perfect! And I was okay getting up on stage and giving out the awards! I know the Lord was with me and I believe that was a big part of why I didn't fall off the stage! lol!

So, now it's Carole's turn her big day is in TWO WEEKS!!! I can't believe it my little sister is graduating high school!! I feel like I just graduated high school!!

Well, I guess this is the time where I should end! I know there is more I wanted to share with all of you but for right now I am going to end.

Hope you all have terrific Sunday tomorrow!!
