What a gift the Lord gave us a year ago today...
Sleep deprived, high on caffeine, anxious with nerves I waited for him to come...
Watching the clock, updating my blog, facebook, email, text messages, praying oh so praying waiting, watching...
Looking at my mom's tired face and then it was time.
After nine months of preparing, praying, talking about, waiting, it was time.
The time to meet my brother...
I will never forget the moment he came into the world, this miracle, this surprise, this gift from God. I will never forget how I felt as I looked at my parents faces the love they shared for this new son made my heart squeeze with love for my precious parents.
Tears fell down my cheek as my Mimi put her arm around my back. My mom was okay, my baby brother was okay and the Lord had His mighty hands around our family.
Who would of thought at age 22 I would be standing in the hospital room next to my sister Carole holding our phones taking pictures of our new baby brother. Counting to three so we both could send text messages at the same time to all our friends and family.
Now, a whole year later our Jeremy is one.
One years old.
He's taking eight steps at a time.
He loves to talk.
He claps and waves.
He LOVES Barney.
He is pretty partial to Southern Gospel music! ;)
He loves fish (Real fish and crackers)
He loves his family and we love him.
I can't tell you how much I love this boy. He is my joy. I love his little kisses, his hugs, his laughter, his love.
He knew we needed our Jeremy.
I will be posting pictures of Jeremy's birthday we had for him yesterday soon.

I never thought three years ago when I started this blog that I would be announcing that Jeremy was coming.
Or to be sitting at hospital giving you play by play of what was going on.
Or a year later announcing this baby boy just turned one.
The Lord knows just what we need.
He knew we needed our Jeremy.
I will be posting pictures of Jeremy's birthday we had for him yesterday soon.
Until then....
