Christmas Carole

I am on my laptop, so the pictures will have to wait until another time. But since my sister's birthday is tomorrow, on Christmas day, I might not have the chance to write a post on her actual birthday. So I needed to pay a tribute to my adorable little sister and I thought this would be a great time to do it.

What can I say? She is my sister, best friend and just a pure delight to have around. I love you my Carole (Moosie) lol....*Kiss* *Kiss*

Snow Day!

*Sigh* Five days until Chrsitmas morning, where does the time go? Here I am sitting on my couch, watching the snow fall through the window in perfect order. The once large green pine tree in my front yard is now covered in white as sugar, snow.

Carole and Aaron are donning the large Christmas tree in all asortments of ornaments. Home made beaded candy canes all the way to Patriots Christmas balls. The colorful lights are bouncing off the apple ornaments and touching just the right spot in Carole's eyes to make them sparkle.

Christmas music is playing in the back round. Songs I have never heard of all the way to the traditional "I'll Be Home For Christmas."

This morning I got up to get ready for school. Right after I finished applying my foundation on my face, the phone rang. After I heard my dad hang up the phone, I lifted Thumper (my cat) who was destroying the totliet paper and rubbing my leg while purring all at the same time. I took a stroll down the stairs. "Cancelled?" I said with my husky morning voice while I patted Thumper's soft fur. Yup, my dad said while he made his way to the back door. I snuck a peek behind his shoulder and saw the snow falling onto the ground.

So here I am still enjoying my day off although, I missed being at the school. And as I write I am listening to a horriable rendition of "Mary Did You Know." Oh good, that's over! LOL

Well, I guess I should end for now.

True Meaning...

One little baby so sweet and small came into this world to save us all.

Little fingers and little toes wiggled in a manger full of hay.

His mother, a virgin, a miracle I know, watched her baby with a smiling heart.

He grew up and one day that I can never repay, he died upon a tree to save you and me.

Three days later He arose, yes, that little baby, the same little baby who came into this world, rose again and said He will be coming back.

So during this Christmas season, don't get too wrapped up in all the Christmas fun without remembering that first Christmas.

Busy!

I am really sorry about how long it has taken me to update! The Christmas season is in full swing at my house. We went to the Christmas concert at our church last night.

They were so good!! They sang absolutely beautifully. When the choir started singing "Oh Holy Night" You could here sniffles all through out the church. It was really great.

I also enjoyed seeing some of the children from the school. It's just the greatest beyond greatest feeling when children come up to me and ask if I can go down stairs with them or if I like their dress. The pride that engulfs me when I see four of my students recite Bible verses in front of the church overwhelms my being.

Tonight, the sixth movie from the Love Comes Softly series "Love's Unfolding Dream" airs on the Hallmark channel. I think the first one was the best, but I enjoy all of them. So me and Carole are down stairs. (I am on my laptop) We are watching the fifth one right now "Love's Unending Legacy." The newest one will follow this one.

Alright, I will end for now. I hope all of you are having a wonderful Christmas season!

What A Day!

I have been meaning to write this story since it happened, Saturday night. But, I didn't have time then and was going to do it yesterday but Sundays are always busy. So I had to wait for today. Just in case you think I am horriable by the end of this post, I am just having fun with an expirence I went through. I am just being Silly! I think they call it poetic licence!lol

Where to begin....alright, I will start right after my mom and Aaron went to the front of the grocery store to get out of line and me and Carole were helping our dad unload the cart.

Butter, milk, eggs and other necessitates of life filled the conveyor belt. Trying desperately to grab the food from the cart without breaking my nail filled my thoughts as a small girl behind us tried to grab a magazine from a near by rack.

No, her father said loudly as the little girl whined. "Dad-dy, BUT I WANT A MAGAZINE!" Terrific, I thought. We are in front of a brat. The girl persisted. "Mag-a-zine" She chanted "Mag-a-zine." Wonderful, we have a five year old campaigning for a stupid magazine, in back of my head.

I glanced over at Carole who had on one of her "she'd better stop or I am going to fling this eight pound potato sack at her head faces" on. "Mommmmm-ey" No, she said as she continued to ignore her daughter, while reading her magazine with her husband. What a typical American family. Oh brother! "Mag-a-zine...Mag-a-zine!" Oh good, she's at it again. It gets better, don't worry. "I want to go to the car. I want to go to the car!" No, one of the parents said while their noses were still buried in their reading material.

"Why not...why not" Carole starts chanting under her breath. Since the cart was between us, I couldn't give her a sisterly knock in the ribs, so I tried to give her one of my best teacher looks. I am afraid it did not intimidate her.

Finally, all the food was on the belt and the cart was pushed to the front where the bag boy started putting the groceries in bags and then in the cart. I decided I needed Altoids. I happen to love Altoids and I was running low. But what I was not prepared for, was the different flavors. We had original, we had extra original, we had the holiday special kind of mint wrapped in chocolate and then we had a fruity kind "Mango."

That sounds good, I thought. So, I grabbed a can and proceeded to put it with all our other groceries where the cashier was checking everything out.

"Oh, you are going to love these!" I smiled politely. She then put her hand in her little vest pocket and started to pull something out. "Oh dear." My mind started wondering "She is going to pull out a gun and shoot me. I shouldv'e been more polite. Ummmm....Maybe I shoulv'e said "Oh really? Oh good, I am so happy. I have been standing in line for a half hour waiting for our turn so I wouldn't have to hear magazine girl anymore, and I was just hoping some one was going to tell me what Altoids were the ones I needed! Thank You, Thank you!" Instead of a gun she pulled out the same can I had just chosen and opened it... "Here, try one. They are so good."

Oh man...now what? My mother's voice was coming through my thoughts now from years and years of prompting "Never take candy from strangers!" I looked into her eyes. They were pleading with me to take one. What should I do, be rude and say keep your Altoids? I reasoned that they weren't candy, per say but Altoids? So I took one. But the persistent cashier, scary Altoids lady was not budging. "Taste it, it's so good!"

So I thought... Well I might be meeting my Creator right now. So long, Carole, Dad, strange bag boy, whiny magazine girl. I am going home." So I popped the acid coated Altoid in my mouth and wondered how long it would take before it dissolved and killed me. Apparently, bag boy didn't want me to die alone. So, he started up a conversation with me.

"So, are you twelve or fourteen?" For my obituary? I thought. I looked him square in the eye. "Excuse me?" He stuttered just a little. "I was wondering are you twelve or fourteen?" I couldn't believe my ears. Here I am twenty years old and here he thought I was merely a teenager? Carole had the same look on her face. But I knew what she was thinking "You did it now. You should never have asked Ginger that. Of all the questions you could have asked, you asked if she was 14?" "I am twenty years old." I said with disgust. "He stuttered some more. "I am sorry about that. I am five years older." Strange, acid, Altoids lady said. "I am seven years older." Carole says.... "I am two years younger. What a small world after all." Bag boy looks into my eyes( frankly, he was giving me goose bumps) and said. "Well you are so very beautiful..." I said "Thank you." In my polite voice. Then he looked at Carole and said "As are you." "Thanks" She said with a slap of her tongue and a roll of her eyes. Oh dear!! He then decided to ask us about what we think about the primaries. When strange, acid, Altoids, murder lady asked me "Is it tangy yet?" "Is that what I should feel right before I collapse?" I wanted to ask.

Well finally, the groceries were paid for, the cart was full with bagged items and we started heading out. But, not before the strange bag boy could tell me yet again that I was so beautiful. Well, I am happy to report that strange, acid, Altoid lady did not poison me and I am still alive and kicking. LOL...

Sweet...

Oh, when I saw that sweet smile, as usual, my heart melted a tad. But as I looked at his hand.. what he had clutched in that small palm got my curiosity going. "Open it!" He said with a great big smile on that adorable face.

I looked at the hand made envelope dorned in stamped candy canes and Gingerbread men. I praised him at how creative he was. He told me to open it and warned me that the envelope was taped. Slowly, I opened it and found a wonderful piece of artwork and this...

Miss Ginger,
Thank God for the good and your good. Good teacher to you and your good.

If that isn't adorable, I don't know what is!

Tis The Season...

Yes, it's already time to start racking my brain for gifts for my beloved children at the school. So, my mom found this idea in an old magazine and showed it to me. What do you think? You just need a white piece of paper an outline of a snowman, ribbon and pipe cleaners and you get these adorable snowman ornaments! Just a million more to go....lol...Do you want to help?? My mom is helping me a lot, though. She deserves "Best Mommy helper, award." LOL I crack myself up!!

Here is the finished product. Right now the bag is just filled with tissue paper. But when the day comes that I'll pass these adorable things out they will be filled with Christmas cookies. Hope you all enjoyed my little "Arts and Crafts" moment. Believe me when I say you will only find me doing arts and crafts when there are children involved.lol...

I have been tagged!!

Here are the rules:*Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.*Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.*Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.*Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Jessica tagged me a few days ago and I thought this would be a good time to do it. The only thing is I have done this tag before. So instead of me thinking about another 7 random things about myself, I thought I would give you seven random things about how we (my family) celabrate Christmas.

1. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving we are one of many families who shop on black Friday. This year me and Carole went with our older sister Leslie and our brother in law Joe at six in the morning to do some shopping!!

2. On Christmas Eve my dad reads the real Christmas story about God sending His son Jesus down to this earth, being born in a stable and laying in a manger to one day die on the cross to save us from our sins. Then he reads The Night Before Christmas.

3. Christmas Eve night when "us children" are sleeping my parents put stockings on our beds. (Just to clear the air we never believed in Santa. Our parents taught us it was a fun story that's it)

4. We decorate our home for Christmas on the first week of December (although this year we are running late) but we don't put up our tree until the last week before Christmas.

5. Every year a few weeks before Christmas, our church has a huge Christmas concert.

6. A few days after Christmas we make our annual trip to my Mimi's (Grandmothers) and have Christmas down there. We also make our rounds to all our other family members and friends houses in the same weekend.

7.We are a Christmas cookie making type of family. All Christmas season our oven is always filled with Christmas cookies.

I enjoyed doing this and even if I don't tag you feel free to do it!

I tag...

Pictures Of My Day Home

Most of you know I am starting my own day home. It's a work in progress right now. In God's timing it will start. I thought you may all enjoy some pictures of it. This was when our dining room first started looking like a day care. When my day home is nice and clean for pictures. I will show you a more updated photo.:)

Catching Up!

It's about time. I know. I am sorry I have let my blogging buddies wait so long before I logged on to my account and wrote an exciting post! If it's any consolation, I have thought about my little corner on the web a whole lot and have been planning to grace you all will my presence every day, but, just haven't had the time to do it.

Isn't it great that Christmas is now in the air? December second. I can't believe it's this time of year again, already!! I haven't even begun my Christmas shopping. Yes, I am a big procrastinator!!

Do you all want to hear something??? Oh, okay, then I guess I won't tell you....I am just kidding...okay here's my news. This past Friday when I walked up the stairs to the elementary floor, the secretary and a high school teacher both looked at me and said "So, you are going to be a teacher today?" I looked at them and said "Not today." They laughed and said "That's what you think!" (I really thought they were kidding!) They weren't. The third and fourth grade teacher was out sick. So...yup I was the teacher!! lol...It went well. I was a little hesitant when it came to math...lol it's been a while. But it went okay...Mrs.H, can you imagine me doing third and fourth grade math???LOL

Well, I need to give a special shout out to Jessica...LOL I am so sorry I haven't posted my day home pictures yet. I have been meaning to. I will get those posted soon!! Thank you so much for tagging me I will be doing that soon.

Okie dokie, it's time for me to sign off for now.

Thanksgiving pictures!

Here's a glimpse into my family's Thanksgiving. This is me and my Devyn.
Carole and Devyn Wednesdasy night. A few hours after my sister and her family arrived.

Me and Patrick on Thanksgiving morning or early afternoon or...okay lol...I did keep on my jammies for a while. But only because me and my brother in law were the only two that still had their Pj's on in the afternoon and we decided to have a contest to see who would be the first to change. He won!lol
Mimi and Devyn chilling at the table.

Trying To Think Of The Perfect Title...

How about that for a title? Yes it took me hours and hours. I slaved over it. I erased it and came up with a new one twenty times. I asked all my family member's opinions....okay, lol enough exaggerating, lets get down to business.

It's already Monday night. This week has just appeared with no warnings at all! I can't believe Thanksgiving is this Thursday!! I should believe it though, I had been in my bedroom all day on Saturday cleaning to my little heart's content. Finally I finished it and it looks the best it has since I redecorated.

We are having a crowd this year. A lot of the family members are coming up including my two adorable nephews!! Even...my Mimi said she will try her best to be here!! (For those of you who don't know, my Mimi is my grandmother, one of my bestest friends in the world!!)

So, while I was on my hands and knees cleaning the upstairs bathroom floor (Hasn't looked better, if I do say so myself) I was trying to put a post together in my head. I wasn't very successful as you can see by my rambling thoughts. I just have so much to blog about and not enough time in the day to do so.

I certainly hope I will have time to blog again before Thanksgiving. But just in case I don't, I want to wish each and every one of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

11 years ago yesterday...

My grandfather entered Heavens gates. Sometimes I can't believe how many years ago it was. I was sitting in my home church on an ugly oranage carpeted pew next to my sister Carole. We were watching our Pastor preach, talking about my Papa, seeing the large brown coffin and wondering what Papa was doing that momnet in Heaven.

He lost his battle with Cancer six weeks after he was diagnosed. On November 16th a nine year old little girl lost one of her bestest friends. Although, I knew one day I was going to see him again.

Some days I miss him, which is kind of strange because he has been gone from this earth for so long and I was so young when he went home to be with Jesus. But on the day of my graduation I saw my Mimi sitting in the back pew with my great Aunt and I thought if Papa was alive he would probably have been behind her on the camcorder instead of my older brother.

I imagine if he were still alive, he would be surprising me by coming up on the weekend and picking me up from the school I work at. I imagine him taking me to the malls with my sister or traveling far and wide to see one of my favorite Southern Gospel groups. Instead I can only imagine seeing him again, walking on those golden streets and seeing him hunker down. In my heart I will be nine again, running into his arms with my long braid whipping me in the face.

On November 16th I always think of my Papa. Although, four years ago this day also became a memorable day for one of my dearest friends as well. Mackenzie lost her Oma (Grandmother) the same day. So this day, of all days, I know of two young girls at heart who are thinking of their very special grandparent in Heaven. One day we will both be able to see them again!

Liked I promised:)

Okay, just to let you all know, when I posted earlier I had no idea I was actually going to have chicken for dinner. Here's the gruesome story.

Earlier this afternoon when my mom read my newest post, she laughed (that wonderful motherly laugh. The same motherly laugh I received when I was six and was told I would be recieving a shot instead of my sister that day at the doctor's office. *Hardy laugh* "Isn't that funny sweetie? The office made a mistake!" Oh yeah, I enjoyed the humor and laughed along! Yes, if anyone is wondering I am being sarcastic...) Okay, moving on..."Hey did you know we were having chicken tonight?" I groaned "Ummm no." "Oh, well, we are!" "Oh goodie." I said with my most prettiest smile.

Lets pause for a moment. If anyone was wondering, I was not chased by a rabid chicken when I was younger, neither had I watched one being brutally murdered by a butcher. And no, I have never had chicken jammed up my nose. Although corn, I have. (I was one and a half, like I knew better.....) But I like corn...hmmm go figure! I have just never enjoyed eating meat that you can still see veins and blood or skin!! EWWW!!! A little fact, my sister Carole enjoys chicken skin. Isn't that the grosses thing you have ever heard??

Yes, I am getting off the subject again. So at dinner time I was on the phone with Mimi (My grandmother) and the chicken came out of the slow cooker...well it didn't exactly walk out or I really would have been freaked. My mom took it out and piece by piece it was being dished out. I was trying to put my full attention on my conversation and not dare let my eyes fall on the poultry that was laying on my plate.

Sadly, I was off the phone just in time to eat. I sat down and after grace was said, it was time to dig in (or in my case "pick and choose.") Don't want the skin... okay, I'll have this little meat here, eww eww I just touched fat. Okay, is that meat or is it a very clever, deceitful looking piece of cartilage...Ewww.

Well, I certainly made it through the meal, surprisingly, without gagging or having my father tell his twenty year old daughter to get more meat off that bone. So I survived although, I am afraid I heard my mom say to my dad...."We have plenty of chicken for tomorrow night..." *Sigh*

For those of you who hadn't read my last post, I have decided my blog is just not all that interesting. So I am going to try my best to install new material in this blog of mine and update a tad bit more.

Making Some Changes

Okay, here we go. It's time for some drastic changes. For one, I have changed my normal purple- plum color font to an ugly reddish brown. So that's change number one. In reality this blog has gotten stale since eight months ago, when I started it. It's Probably because, half the time I post, I rack my brain for twenty minutes thinking of something half interesting to post about.

I recently have found some blogs that really peeked my interest, that got me to thinking. They have a real creative way to tell a story. I can do that. Why don't I? Isn't that the purpose of having a blog, to be creative to draw the readers into a glimpse of your life? So for now on (lets see how long this is going to last) I am going to draw you into what ever I am writing about. When I have chicken for dinner, after my graphic details of how much I despise chicken, you too will want to despise chicken!

Okay, so I am on a mission to make this blog somewhere you will want to stop by every chance you have. Well...okay, if you do that you may have to read the same post thirty times. But, I will try to update more often! I promise! Well okay, don't hold me to that promise. Hey, what can I say, I am a busy girl!

Back to the present. I am going to end for now. But, be prepared for a change over at "Pieces Of My Heart."

What a Weekend!

We left to go visit my Mimi after school on Thursday. Needless to say, on the way down I was exhausted but, I had no idea what an adventure I was in for!! You will soon understand why there was little resting on the way to my grandmothers.

On the highway, half way to our destination, we hit a pot hole and our van door swung open. Guess who was closest to the door? Yup...Me! I announced that the door had opened and when my dad could, he pulled over, jumped out and shut it. Or so he thought. After three times he decided it would not shut.

So....thankfully, I don't know why, but thankfully we had bungee cords in the car. My dad and later Aaron tied the door to my mom's seat! LOL...It gets better, my dad drove to Wendy's which was right off the highway while I hung on to the door for dear life, hoping the bungee cords would stay in place.

After we retrieved the food and my dad decided we would still head to my Mimi's, my brother took my seat and he held the door!lol (Today is the first day my arm hasn't been sore from the ten minutes I held the door shut!)

But, even with our trials, the trip was a success. We had wanted to visit more people but we were not able to because of time. We did have a friend look at the van door and he was able to shut it but, we still have bungee cords attached to the door just in case.

So, yes if you were wondering, we did not use that door. So me, Carole and Aaron either went out one of our parents doors or had our dad pop our trunk door so we could hop out that way! lol...yes it was quite a weekend!

Although, we had a great time with Mimi. We basically dedicated this weekend to take her shopping. She did a lot of Christmas shopping and we did also. It was so weired to realize it's actually this time of year again where Christmas music is playing and decorations are all over the place.

At one point I was standing with both carriages while the rest of the fam. was all over the store and I was watching so many different people walking by, singing along with the carols. I thought it was so funny to watch.

Well, I have to thank all of you for all your kind comments from my hundreth post. I was shocked to see ten comments when I checked a few minutes ago. That was so neat to see!

I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday!

This Is My Desire.

A hardy hello to all my faithful bloggers,
This marks my one hundredth post.I can hardly believe it! I started blogging on a day that I was down in the dumps. We were supposed to be somewhere that weekend but, our car had died.

So, I was home and I wanted to do something. So after I asked my parents and explained what a blog was... (my dad was a tad bit confused) they agreed and I entered into the world of blogging.

At first I only had one viewer who faithfully checked my blog each day and reminded me often to update it, when I hadn't for days. Then her daughter Mackenzie started one . She has been blogging almost as long as I have. After a week or so, I started feeling my way through the blogsphere and found other like minded bloggers. Then I got into this whole bloggy thing.

I have now fully become an official blogger. I love checking all the different blogs every chance I have, posting, taking pictures for my blog and coming up with different looks for it.

What I did not expect was to find so many believers through blogging. It's so great that I have gotten to know so many people from all over this country who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is my desire for the next hundred posts and more, that I will keep posting and that my bloggers will see Jesus in me through my blog.

I love each positive comment I get on this blog and it's been so much fun visiting all your blogs.

Yes, yes it is midnight again!

Here I am again, at my computer, writing a post at midnight! I have a good excuse though, for being up so late. We have a revival going on at our two
sister churches so we went to the service tonight.

We have heard this evangelist before and he preached a great message. It was great seeing different people we don't get to see often and a lot of the kids from school.

One of the second graders was sitting in front of me and kept on looking at me. I thought it was so cute. She also had her eye on my sister who she had only seen a picture of , so I think she thought that was pretty neat also.

We also went to Wal-mart afterwards which kept us out even later. I was so tired by the time we headed into the store. Us "kids" didn't even venture around the store like we usually do 'cause we just wanted to hurry up and get home.

I am running out of things to blog about really fast. I am getting more tired every second that is passing by.

I just wanted to stop by and write a quick post. Oh and for the people who were wondering were I got this new layout. http://www.pyzam.com This is the link.

How do you like my new look?

Me and my sister had such a fun time looking for a new look for my blog. After a while Carole was getting bored and deserted me, so I found this one on my own. lol... I really liked the leaves and the fallish, Thanksgiving look, so I took it.

Mackenzie, I will be calling or emailing you soon to tell you how I got it. I wanted to thank Liz (a fellow blogger) who told me about this site. I totally enjoyed looking at all the different back rounds.

I had to laugh at all the comments about my mentioning of shoes. I didn't realize that some fellow bloggers share my love for shoes! Well, I haven't gone shoe shopping yet but, I really do need to soon. I was thinking about those shoes that are flat and really cute and I can't think of the name of them but they are very popular right now. I am hoping to get a couple of pairs, one being a solid black.

Okay, how did yet another post become overwhelmed with the topic of shoes? I do not know. lol

Hope you all had a great Sunday.

Little ones who captured my heart!

What can brighten my day more than a sweet little girl showing me her gigantic stuffed animal horse?

What can bring a glimpse of pride in my heart when a little boy snuggles at my arm while following my finger sliding across the hymnal in chapel, following each word and singing at the top of his lungs?

How can I say no when my hand is free and a child seems to think it needs company?

How can I choose when both sides of the lunch table wants me to sit with them?

What's a girl to do when she wears a fluffy, furry sweater to school and all the kids flock to her and want to pet her like she's a cat? LOL (Bask in the adorableness)

Of course I saved the best for the last... What do I say when a little boy looks up at me and says you are so pretty!?!

Doesn't your heart want to melt??

The last day of October

Wow, it's just crazy how time flies. Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of November? Yes, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!! We are already discussing where everyone will be sleeping, what we are having, what time we are going to leave for shopping that Friday. Yikes...the clock is moving way too fast. Although, as always, it's exciting!

As October quickly leaves us, the coldness in the air is quickly coming to us. Sweaters have been my best friend the last couple of weeks also cute boots. LOL...And cute high heels which are not really my friend after long days at school. I am looking for cute flats that will not kill my feet. I am a shoe crazy kinda girl. So, I really don't like ugly flats I like cute ones. LOL.... Okay enough about my fascination with shoes.

Speaking of being cold I caught a cold the other day. That's one thing about working with children. You can catch something so quickly but, I am feeling much better now.

Well, I really need to get off for now. I am sorry about how boring this post was. lol....Maybe I will have something much more interesting to blog about the next time I blog.

How Rude!!

Yesterday morning I was sitting with my friend who's husband was preaching. We both had our Bible's opened and listened to the preaching when all of a sudden I heard this very loud noise coming from behind me.

It took all my being not to look at my sister Carole who was in the back of the church running the sound booth, but I knew that would be too obvious. So I tried to concentrate on the sermon. I then heard it again, louder and more pronounced. That does it, I thought. I know what I am hearing, that is someone snoring. I looked at my friend, but she didn't seem to notice so I went back to the Bible.

A second later the snoring got about two more octaves higher. That's when my friend looked at me. When I looked at her I thought I would just about die from holding in my laughter.

The snoring person ended up not being from around here and left as soon as the service ended. I couldn't help thinking a pew is not the first place I would choose to take a nap!

A note for Julie

I know this is different but for a week now I have been trying to comment on Julie Jewls blog but each and every time I either loose my comment or can not even get to the place where I can comment.

So, Julie I wanted to let you know. I was afraid you might have thought I have stopped coming over to your blog. But I haven't I go on just as often I just can't comment!! Me and my mom did the word scramble but couldn't post the answers on your blog. Oh well.

I will still keep on reading your blog and hopefully whatever problem I am having I will figure it out and I can comment again.

Hold your breath...

I really have no idea how long this will last. My computer is going a little wacko on me and once in a while it freezes while I am using the computer. Then I have to turn the whole thing off and restart it. No, it's not fun at all. So you may ask why don't I use my laptop? That's a very good question. Well, I am trying to keep this one on as long as I can because it seems like the longer I am on the less the chance it will freeze on me. Strange yes, but, whatever!

So as you can see by the party pictures the whole thing was a great success. Every one had fun and Aaron had a great sixteenth birthday. The next day after church we still had some company over so they wanted to play football. But was one player short so guess who had to fill in?? If you guessed me you were right. LOL...a sight to see I am sure. Although, I did get four touch downs yes my new nickname is TD. lol...I have some "team" pictures to show off to you at a later time.

I am sure you have already notice that Wednesday is the last day I blog until Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Thursday and Friday are my busiest days so I probably won't blog again till this weekend. I just thought I would worn you for a change. lol

Great news though, we have a new van!! Thank you all who was praying for our car situation a month or so ago. It's a brown van the best part it has a CD player and in the back their is captain seats. lol.... Me and my sister Carole loves to recline. And yes we have some car pictures of us also that I will download into a post soon.

Okay, well, I really should end for now. Hopefully I will be able to post before it freezes again. You all have a great afternoon!

A Misunderstanding.

One sunny day a hunter went tromping through the muddy woods. His camouflage clothes blended nicely in the trees. Carefully he moved his brown boots one at a time until he reached a large rock. Sweat trickled down his forehead while he hugged his rifle closely to his chest, scanning the wooded area, trying to find some game.

Hours were flying by and his stomach was starting to growl, but, he didn't want to give up. Not yet...As six o clock turned to seven the sun started to set. His hat all of the sudden became a nuisance so with quick movements he took it off and wiped his damp hair.

As his watched read seven thirty, his pocket began to ring. Muttering something under his breath he quickly answered the phone. "Yeah?" He answered furiously as his eyes scanned the now dim area around him. "Boris what are you doing? The kids are starved and frankly so am I. How long does it take you to pick up meat at the market?"

The hunter said nothing for a moment as he heard his wife say something to their children. What did she mean the market, he thought. Didn't she say she wanted fresh meat? He said as much to his wife. "Boris what in the world are you talking about? The market had a sale on meat!! Where are you?" The hunter put his rifle down and leaned hard on his rock. He looked up to the now dark sky and then went back to his conversation.

"I will be home in about an hour. What kind of meat do you want?" "Never mind Boris. I'll order Pizza. Just come home." The hunter closed his phone and put it back in his pocket. He placed his gun over his shoulder and placed his hat back on his head. With a thought that he should have asked his wife to be more specific, he headed back to his truck.

As he drove off, heading onto the street, a large moose passed by with a slice of pizza hanging from his mouth. Yes, he thought, he needed to get home.

Many things to blog about...

My apologies for taking forever to post. I am sure you were getting pretty tired of looking at my soup bowl. lol...Although, you don't know how special you make me feel when you do check my blog often, hoping I have a new post. I didn't think I was that intriguing to read about.

So, thank you to all who wonder how I was doing. I am feeling a whole lot better except for the sneezing which I seemed to have adopted this morning. I am so stuffed up right now that I sound like Mickey Mouse.

The house is buzzing with excitement right now because my younger brother Aaron is turning the big sixteen this Wednesday. So, this Saturday we are having a football party for him. He's pretty excited. It looks and sounds like it will be a lot of fun to watch. I am sure I will have plenty of pictures to show you all.

Oh, in one of my previous post I had mentioned Courtney's blog and how on every Wednesday she has a game. Well since then a couple other blogs I check often have posted games. So, check out Mackenzie's and Julie's they both created games on their blogs and it was fun participating in both.

Well, I am going to end for now and go in search of a tissue.
Until next time.

I have been sick:(

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more I am sorry about not blogging but, as my title says, I have been sick. Yes, that means I wasn't able to go to school at all this week. Sigh....But I am feeling better now. Although, not up to a long post. The bug has attached itself to me and at the beginning I couldn't go to sleep at all! That's what usually happens when I am sick. So,my schedule has been totally off and I am still a little drowsy.Hope to be back and blogging soon!

Wednesday, October 10, 2007

It's after midnight...

So why am I blogging instead of sleeping you may ask. I am really not sure. I just went on the computer to check my mail, some blogs and such ...lol Okay one certain blog in particular.

Courtney has this great weekly post called Rhyme Time Wednesday where she changes the words from a popular song and you have to guess what the song is.

I was horrible at this at first, but I am getting the hang of it. When I can't get it I'll have my mom figure it out. LOL....So check it out. I know you will enjoy it.

My eyes are trying to stay opened and so I really should head for the bed. But I wanted to check in so I won't leave my faithful bloggers waiting for yet another post and have to make you read my last post over and over and over....okay I think you get the point!!

I hope every one has a great day tomorrow. Yes...I will try to post again tomorrow but like always, no promises!

I know you must have been shocked....

To see a post from me. I am sorry at my neglect of the blogging world, yet again. I don't have a real, great excuse like we got a major snow storm in the middle of October and we lost all power in the house. Or...I have found an abandoned baby in my yard and had to nurse it back to health. Or...a huge tree fell on my foot and I couldn't go on my computer because the agony was too great.

To be honest, as usual the last few days in the week were long and tiring days and when I got home I didn't feel like writing a post. Then I was not feeling well on Saturday and yesterday was Sunday and Sundays are always busy!

So, here I am now to grace the blogging world with my presence. I know must have been missed greatly!

I guess the biggest news of the week is my sister had to go to the hospital for a swollen eye. It ended up being an infection of the eye lid. Gross, I know! It's not contagious unless I wanted to poke my finger in her eye and then put the same finger in my own eye. But don't fear I have no desire to do such a thing.lol...

For the library, I have been reading a book from Lori Wick's English Garden series called "The Visitor." It's turning out to be a really good book. I have been enjoying it. Although what Lori Wick book do I not enjoy? lol...

I have an announcement to make. I have a desire to cook!! Before anyone goes to the media and reports this horrific crime. I haven't started yet! But....since working in the cafeteria at the school, I have found out that it's not all bad! Although, I only make the drinks, but, that is not the point! This fall air is really getting to me and I think I should make pumpkin pie, apple crisp and cherry cobbler. Any recipes anyone???

Okay, next on my agenda... knitting. What a calming sorda thing. Sitting by the fire in your living room in a cozy chair and knitting. Sigh....what a sweet picture. So I may start on some knitting. You never know I may be good at it.

LOL...I guess I should end for now.

Your Lunch!

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more A funny thing happened to me last Friday, on the way to school. After my ride came to pick me up, I waved good bye to my father who was at the door and climbed into the car. We started talking as soon as I got in and started up the street.

Out of habit I looked down at my feet and made sure I had my purse. I then looked at the books I brought and made sure I had the right ones. Then I realized my biggest fear had come to life...I had forgotten my lunch!

Thankfully, we were still on my street when I realized this. So we turned the car around and headed back to my house. All of the sudden I saw a very familliar van riding towards us. A frightening thing for sure. I almost thought I wouldn't be going to school after all, but instead, meeting my Creator. Yes, I am embellishing but stay with me.

Rushing toward us, driving like a maniac, still in the t-shirt he had slept in, was my father. He was waving my lunch out the window. I couldn't stop my smile as he pulled up next to us and handed me my lunch. After I caught my breath from laughing so hard, I thanked my dad for risking his life for my lunch!

BUT...between you and me, I think he was a tad bit disapointed that we had turned around. I think he wanted to chase us all the way to school!

Wonderful Moments!

Too late for a real long, exciting, rambling and heart wrenching post. So, I thought I would share a sweet moment that was captured a few weeks ago, while apple picking with my nephew Patrick.

Such a sweet picture, isn't it? Uncle Aaron and Patrick chatting while walking down the road.

Sisterly love.

Here's me and Carole being fools in the back of our van riding to church last night. If you look real close you can see our crazy younger brother in the way back. Here's our ice cream we ate together on Saturday night while watching TV and being crazy sisters in my room. We took a picture of both of us that night but I will spare you the scary results of two girls in their PJ's with no make up and hair not done.
Here's a better picture of me and Carole in the van riding to church.
Sisters are great aren't they? I am so blessed I have two!!

Drum roll please...

Yay!

I finally took some pictures of my room! LOL..I have to admit it's only one side of the room. The rest of the room is still a sight you would rather not see!! I had so much trouble downloading this one picture that I was about to give up! I am glad I didn't. So, now you can see the room I have been talking about for over a month now! Here is my bed. That sad looking thing on it is a rabbit I have had forever! The comforter is the one I bought at the yard sale for two dollars. The chair next to my bed was from the same yard sale and it was five dollars. I draped the doll throw over it to give it a more Victorian look. The drawing above my Thomas Kinkade border was done by Mackenzie for my graduation. It's portrait of me and it looks identical to the photo she copied it from.

LOL...How do you like my flash? Oh well, this gives you an idea anyway. The dresser doesn't look that clean maybe because it is not. lol...BUT...it's the most used piece of furniture besides the bed in my room.

I hope you all enjoyed this much anticipated post.

Happy fall a few days late.

Can you believe fall is already here? It's quite unbelievable. October starts next week and then there is only a few small weeks before November is upon us. Which means Thanksgiving and of course the next day is shopping day! Just a few weeks later Christmas will be here for which I am already thinking about gifts.

I have a small announcement to make. My day home is officially being advertised. Now, I just need people to be interested and give me a ring, which hasn't happened yet. I ask you to pray for my day home and that the right people will call.

Working as a librarian at the Christian school has proven to be so much fun! I love helping the kids pick out books and seeing their facial expressions when they find a book they just have to read! I was recently told that I can decorate the library with seasonal decorations and such. I am so excited!

Also, for the library I have to read a whole lot of different books to make sure they are appropriate for the school. It's fun because I love to read but I get overwhelmed thinking about all those books I need to read. Although, I do have lots of help. Other teachers are reading some and my mom and sister have volunteered (or gave in to my begging one or the other.) lol

Okay, I have to go for now.

Here's the low down....

Okay here's the story. You may be wondering why I haven't posted pictures of my bedroom yet. Well here it goes the awful, but plain truth. It's a mess!! lol....Yup that about sums it up.

I should have taken pictures of it weeks ago but I didn't have my computer and I'd rather not have pictures sitting in my camera just waiting to be downloaded and taken up much needed space. So, I am going to try my best to get my room suitable looking so I can show off my bedroom.

You may have noticed I have changed my blog look. I love my pumpkin header!! It looks so fallish don't you think? I took it this past Saturday when we went apple picking. My profile picture is still a work in progress. (Roll of the eyes) I really have no idea why every time I download it on blogger it looks like my face went through a stretcher. lol...

I need to do a cheap plug right here and announce my best friend Susie just started a blog the other night and already is very faithful in posting. She's much better than I am. lol Please check it out. I know you will enjoy it.

Okay, I guess that's about it for now. I will try to clean my room soon so you can see the pictures I am making you die of anticipation for. lol

Apple Picking with Patrick

Before Patrick went home on Sunday we took him Apple picking on Saturday. He enjoyed sitting on Uncle Aaron's shoulders and taking bites of an apple that my parents gave him.

My mom was taking the picture.

Here she is.

I will post more later. Oh, I added a couple new blogs to my blog roll. Make sure you check them out!! Until next time...

Patrick went home today:(

"Here's Patrick watching football."

Thought I would be nice and download at least one picture. lol...My PC was taking forever to download so that's why I only have one on here. Gotta run!

Did you miss me?

Sorry about how long it has taken me to write a new post. I have been really busy. I will be running out the door again in about an hour.
So, I really don't have that much time to give you one of my famous rambling posts. lol... As you can see my other PC is back up and running. So I now can show pictures again.
I will be posting some of my room as soon as I have time to take some. This picture is of me and my nephew Patrick on Labor Day. Isn't he doll?
Hope to post more pictures soon.

A run down of the last week.

Yes, I agree. Not the most exciting title I could come up with. But, hey I am tired!! lol...I know, I know. What else is new, right? I really have had a long week though...honestly. I have!

Thursday night, we got Patrick (my nephew) again! It's so much fun. We are enjoying him just like the last time. I wish I could show all of you his adorable face but I can't. Yes, my other PC is still not in my grasps. But, if you'd like to take a glimpse at his adorable self you can check back in my late June early July posts. lol...

Friday morning nice and early, I got up for my first day back to the Christian school. I was so excited to go back! Seeing the building made my heart do a flip flop. You may think I am being over dramatic but I am not. That school is so special and I am so excited I am part of it. Most of the children knew who I was but their were a couple of new comers who won my heart instantly.

This week I will be working there Thursday (helping out in the kitchen and library) and Friday being a chaperon on a field trip that the whole elementary is going too. Oh, yeah I also got to look around the library the other day. I didn't work in there 'cause I was too busy that day. But I was able to look around and even take a few books home to read and make sure they are suitable to keep in there. Isn't that cool?

Update on my room... I found a nice folding circle shaped chair at a yard sale on Saturday for five dollars. The color is blue and really didn't fit my decor. So when I took it home and found a place in my room I draped a doll throw over it and now it looks really nice. I also found a full twin comforter set at the same yard sale for two dollars!! My mom washed it for me and it looks great in my room!

I hope your Labor day weekend went well. We had a small get together today at our house. A few families from our church came over for food and fellowship. What can I say? We are Baptists! Yeah, lame joke but hey I have heard it all my life. It was bound to wear off on me. (One thing us Baptists can do is eat and fellowship) It sounds like we are huge and don't know how to keep our mouths shut! lol...Sorry I couldn't resist.

Okay, if you couldn't tell I am tired and in need of sleep. I'll try to post a little sooner next time but no promises!! Good night!

Blogging 'cause I want to...

Yes, another spur of the moment post. No real subject or any real meaning, just thought I would give you all an update on my room.

Suzanne wrote a comment asking what color I painted my shelf. So that gave me a great idea, I would give all of you an update on my bedroom. Thank you Suzanne!

So, my shelf is now painted white. I know, not so exciting but the other color paints around the house wouldn't match my light purple wall paper. But I think it will go okay with some dolls on the shelf and some knick knacks here and there. I also bought some small cubicles. They are a type of organizer from the dollar store. They are a great for holding all my DVD's. They are able to stack up on each other and it really looks nice.

Right this moment I have a bright colorful comforter on my bed but I am thinking I may put on this cherub comforter set I have. It may make my room look more "adultish" lol...Hopefully I will put pictures up soon. I may be getting my other computer soon so maybe, just maybe you will see some pictures really, really soon.

Well, if anyone has any more room ideas I still would like to read them.

10 cents good bargain huh?

At our local thrift store they had a sale today. Everything that had a certain color tag on it was 10 cents. I found a blazer with a top and a sweat shirt. My sister Carole found a lot of stuff.

I also found a Joshua Harris book (I kissed Dating Goodbye author) that wasn't ten cents but it was still a good price. I've never dated but I love his books. I was so excited!

When my dad came home today he brought me a shelf for my room! Again, I was so excited!! It's wood and needs a little TLC but it's going to be great. My brother and dad are working on it right now. Then it will be ready for me and my sister to paint. I just can't wait for it to be ready so I can put it in my room.

Oh, it's time for me to paint now. When my other PC is back up I will show pictures of my shelf and my re decorated bed room:)

The most wonderful time of the year!

Does anyone remember that Staples commercial that appeared around the end of the summer every year. Although, I haven't seen it for the last couple of years, I think.

Anyhow, the one where the parents are smiling and hopping up and down while they are pushing the shopping cart around, throwing school supplies in the cart while their two children are sulking in back of them. In the back round the song "It's the most wonderful time of the year" is playing.

As a student I would hate that commercial. I thought nothing could be more demeaning. The parents, happy that their children are leaving for school and when I saw that commercial I knew school was beginning soon. At the time school was not my favorite past time.

But now, that song is ringing in my ears and it's not that my brother and sister will be back in school. Number one they don't actually leave the house because they are home schooled and number two I like it when they have summer vacation. We get to hang out at all hours of the night and when they are back in school, I go solo again. Sad story, I know.

It's because I go back to the Christian school this Friday and I can't wait. I have become the "story teller" for the first and second graders and the kindergartners of the school. No, that does not mean I tell them false stories and they believe me. I read them a book every week at the end of the day. Sometimes I bring snacks with me or prizes and whenever I don't bring something "extra" they sure let me have it!! lol...

I think I will be bringing a book about the first day of school, this week. If I decide to bring a craft I may find some ideas in my handy, dandy Mailbox Magazine. I love that magazine, so many ideas.

I was asked last night if I would also be willing to work in the library while I am there. So cool, huh? Wow, I am so busy! lol...I can't wait!! Can you tell??

Okay I guess I will be ending for now.

"Mom, I love you!"

Every month she looks on the wall. She still can’t believe how long he has been gone. She marks that day on the small box and when no one is looking she lets her guard down…

“Mom, I love you.”…goes through her mind.

As tears fill her eyes and her memory goes wild. She can feel him in her arms. She can see him smile. Every feature, every move, every emotion, every mood, her little boy is still alive when she closes her eyes…

“Mom, I love you.” she can hear loud and clear

His wedding day flashes through her mind as his eyes were focused on his precious bride. The joy she saw when he said “Mom, here’s your grandson…” And then again, when he presented her with a granddaughter.

“Mom, I love you.” she clenches at those words

The disease was long and painful but his faith never wavered. Such an inspiration he was and still is to her and the ones who loved him.

“ Mom, I love you.” she cries at the thought

She stands taller and wipes her eyes and thanks God that her son is alive and waiting for her at those gates. One day she will see her son alive again and those words she longs to hear, she will.

“Mom, I love you.”

Sitting here on the couch.

The excitement, the anticipation, the awe you must be feeling by reading just my title. I am afraid I am being just a tad bit on the sarcastic side. I think I am allowed to do that when I am blogging at midnight. My eyes feel like lead as I try to scrape up something really interesting to blog about.

We were able to go to mid- week service tonight. Our Pastor came and picked us up. We then found out after service that he and his wife are lending us their car for the week, which is so sweet. Hopefully by the time we give them their car back we will have our own car again! I hope!!

I was so surprised that not one but two bloggers commented on my last post. lol...Very encouraging that people like even my most boring post!!lol... I do try!

Oh...I am going back to the christian school, not this Friday, but next. I can't wait. I am so excited between this and my day home, which will be starting soon. Since we now have a car, I plan on putting my brochures out.

I also am hoping we will be able to go shopping soon. I really want to go shopping!! lol

Alright, enough for now. Talk to you later!

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

Oh the woes of writer's block...

Oh man, please forgive me for not writing anything for a few days. I have just had nothing to blog about. If you have anything you would like me to blog about send me a suggestion. I won't promise you I will do it...lol...but you never know. I might.

So...lol....I can't think of anything!! This is horrible. We need a car so I can go shopping and tell you about all my bargains. Well, my day care will start soon so I will have plenty to chat about then and school will be starting...next week so I may have a story or two then.

I know you are enjoying this post. You are saying "Ginger this is the best blog you have written" lol...

I am sorry I am wordless. I guess I should end. Maybe tomorrow I will have something worth writing about.

Too late for blogging...but here's a thought...

Do a yard sale in a some what civilized neighborhood and you may earn a buck, or fifty!! Yes...me and Carole had a great time and sold a lot of things, we even earned some money for my younger brother selling some of his things. Me and Carole spilt the money and as soon as the car is fixed will be heading out to look for bedroom decor. I need to head to bed before I doze at my PC. But first I need to let you know I received my first issue of Mailbox magazine. It was a gift. If you haven't heard of it you should. It has great ideas and I can't wait to be able to use them when I have my day home. Oh, also, my Mimi ordered me Lori Wick's newest book, Cassidy. I received it in the mail this past Tuesday and love it. But, I haven't gotten to far I have been extremely busy. Okay, going to bed. Nightie night!! As my three year old nephew would say.

When the wind blows...

The cradle didn't rock but the house sure did. Last night we had a major thunder storm. It looked like a typhoon out there. The sky was as blue as can be at nine at night. The wind was crazy and the trees swung in every direction.

By nine thirty we would see a flash of lightning and some emergency vehicle pass the house. This morning after we woke up we went outside to pick up huge limbs that had fallen off the trees.

Our shed has looked better. A branch must have fallen from a tree and landed on the shed's roof. It's now warped and the doorway is all broken and hanging needless to say I wouldn't recommend anyone standing near it right now, unless you want to loose an eye that is.

The storm lasted a long time and it wasn't till after midnight that it stopped all together.

My dad heard on the radio that a town near by had to be shut down during the storm. No one could come in and no one could go out. I guess we should be thankful we have no car right now or we might have been out during that awful storm.

Like I asked in my last post can you please continue to pray for the three things I mentioned the other night and one more. My older brother called the other night to let us know that his wife's cousin was found dead. He would've been twenty five next month. I ask you to pray for his family as they go through this ordeal.

Thank you again...I think it is so great that through the "blog sphere" we can meet fellow believers from different states and countries and we can lift each other up in prayer. People we never knew existed until we stumbled upon their "blog" and read a post, left a small comment and instantly connected.

It's about time. I know...

I have been very busy this week. I am happy to say, though, I actually have time and can concentrate on my blog right now. Well, my bedroom is starting to shape up... I still have a pile of books here and a big trash bag there. But it's coming together.

My sunburn is not as sore now. I am still red but I do not hear the word "lobster" coming out of my family's mouths as much. LOL...so that's good anyway. My sister's ears got the most burned they actually blistered and popped. Eww...I know, but that's life. She also is feeling better and can actually talk on the phone again.

Like I have mentioned before, this Saturday my sister and I will be doing another yard sale. My mother has already said she will bathe us in sun block before we leave. LOL...We still have a lot of things we haven't sold yet. Like dolls, toys and other odds and ends. Oh, and shoes...lol...lots of shoes! I got rid of so many and I still had to cram the rest under my bed. What can I say? I love shoes.

I am going to ask all my blogging friends to do something before I end this post. I have three things I would be so thankful if you prayed for. 1. An eighteen year old boy named Charlie who was diagnosed with brain cancer this past May. 2. Our car is down again. Please pray that the car will be fixed all the way or we will be able to get a new car some how. 3. An unspoken request.

Thank you so much for praying.

A yard sale is not worth it when...

Five hours outside, toasting in the sun and sixteen dollars to show for...and a really bad sun burn! (Guess we should of remembered the block!) Maybe next Saturday me and Carole will do a little better at the other yard sale we are going to be a part of.

What day is it, again?

The problem with the summer is you don't have to keep up with what day is what. You just let life handle it for you. Wednesday is our mid- week service but this week we had church at a church we associate with last night so we have no service tonight.

So, all day long I am thinking it's Thursday and it's only Wednesday. My confusion also may be stemmed by the fact that I was in my bed room mostly all day trying make sense of the mess.

I finally got everything cleared off my bed to find window cleaner had spilled all over my clean sheet! AGH!! I say. So, I took off the sheet and I am planning on putting an old sheet I had for years on with little teddy bears on it. Sounds real adult right?

Oh, man. Well, enough of my complaining. I am sure you want to hear about my great news right? Okay, here it goes. Last night at church, the pastor's wife asked me if I still want to work at the school one day a week! YAHOOO!!! I am so excited. I am still doing my day care but on Fridays my mom will help me out. So, I am really so happy! I can't wait to begin.

Well, I don't want to admit it but I have been on my handy dandy laptop for a long time now and I really should sign off and go back to my pig pen...I mean bed room. lol...So, I will update you on my slowly progressing bed room later on.

Welcome to My Chaos!

With boxes to the ceiling and shoes up to my ears, I am in a clutter night mare. Rearranging the room sounded like a great idea at the time but now it looks like more of a mess than I bargained for.

My sister Carole is putting everything we own in boxes for a big yard sale we are going to be a part of. And I still have too much stuff... not that I don't want more...lol...but that's a different blog for a different time. You may find that post under..."Shopping and how to cope"

My new bed which was Carole's old bed, is in the center of my room. It would look great if it was not covered with any and every doll I have ever owned, every stinking long necklace I bought at Penny's when they had a great sale. My shoes that I will not depart from (even if my mom said that I won't be able to wear them all even if I changed five times during the day.)

lol...So I have a lot to do. So does Carole. Right now she only has half of a bed...long story I really don't want to get into that.

So as I polish off the rest of my Pepsi in my mug and listen to Aaron and Carole play....uh I mean go through Aaron's GI Joe's for the yard sale. I think I really need to get off my PC and go back to my room. Although, I need to find something to wear tonight. We are having an early mid week service tonight at one of the churches we associate with.

With all that I guess I should end for now. Again I am open to any and all ideas about room decorating.
